Like everything there is paper work which has to be completed to make you legally married!! This includes:
Notice of Intention to Marry form (must be completed 1 month & 1 day prior to the wedding but no earlier than 18 months before the wedding). Provided by me.
Evidence of date of birth (birth certificate if born in Australia, statutory declaration or passport if born overseas)
Evidence of divorce or death of previous spouse (if applicable)
Declaration form stating conjugal status, no legal impediment to the marriage. Provided by me.
Legal
All you need to do is show me evidence of the things which relate to you and I take care of the rest!!
Your Rights
You have a right to a wedding ceremony that is everything you want it to be. If something should happen that is less than you expect then you can complain to:

Your Responsibility
On the day of your wedding you will receive a commemorative wedding certificate. This is not a legal document. Your official certificate is available from Birth, Deaths and Marriages. However, I will include the form you will need in your Confirmation package, or i can organise this for you.
